KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement on Thursday announced holding a rally of Pakhtun people in Karachi on June 24, CNBC reports.

MQM’s Coordination Committee leader, Gulfaraz Khatak, while addressing a news conference in party headquarter, Nine Zero, said the mass meeting would be held on Sunday, June 24 at Jinnah Ground, Azizabad in Karachi.

He urged Pakhtun people to support MQM chief for a ‘positive’ political change in this country, claiming that the party represents middleclass.

“Only Quaid-e-Tehrik Altaf Hussain can bring a real change. The rally will prove that Pashtuns and people of all languages stand shoulder to shoulder with MQM,” he affirmed. -- CNBC
