KARACHI: Meteorological Department said on Saturday that there is no chance of sighting the moon of 1st Shawal this evening so Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to be celebrated on Monday.


A meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee for sighting of Shawal moon (Eid ul Fitr) will be held on today at Pakistan Meteorological Department building Karachi.


Chief Meteorologist Toseef Alam told media that there is no chance of sighting the of the moon today. He also said that the final decision will be announce by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. CNBC
